We are seeing jobs disappear and the further merge of our id with systems we are not in charge of. Group hallucinations in a loop fed by social AI bots is the rule of the day. The ones that lean in and support the transition will benefit a moment before the ax comes for them, but what options are there?

I’m not sure humans brains evolved in a way that can detach from the survival instinct enough to pause and look down the road. We are Pavlov’s dog and we have been trained to salivate when the bell rings. The comforts of AI are here and mankind puts our hand on the stove again. We can’t help ourselves.
